What Keith did today

Keith had to work for a little while this morning and early afternoon. But when he got home he worked on his 4 wheeler. It is pretty well ready to go. He is going to take it out on the ice tomorrow. Trial run type of thing. He doesn't have his tire wraps yet, so will have to put the ice tires on when he gets there. This is the same type he had a few years ago. He would like the 450, but got this one super cheap and rebuilt most of it. Good thing he likes to do that type of stuff. I got a quick video when he was almost done playing in the street. Probably not a good idea to be doing that, but... :)

Funny

I just thought I would add a funny note.
I woke up last night to go to the bathroom, about 12:15. When I got back to bed, I told Keith it had snowed again and he asked what time it was. I told him about 12:15, and he said "Good, it isn't even half time yet" He must have had football on the brain, or something. Lol:) Still laughing about it. I told him about it this morning, and he didn't remember a thing. Just thought it was a funny thing to share. :)

Popcorn, Popcorn and more Popcorn

We have Kyle and Kira staying with us tonight and Keith wanted to make some more popcorn balls and some popcorn for eating of course:) Kira made most of the balls with Keith's help, she even made her own little popcorn ball, she named it Bob!

Snow

Just thought this was cute. Keith was out snow blowing and he made a path around the yard for the dogs. They aren't spoiled or anything:) I felt really bad for him out there. I couldn't even help shovel according to the neck doctor. And Keith made sure I listened. It's fine with me - since I hate winter, but hate that he has to do it all with this much snow. I would've usually done the sidewalk while he does the driveway.

Today's Treats

Keith made the popcorn balls, and a nice mess:) I made the cookies - my favorite - peanut butter with hershey kisses, and I also made the oreo truffle's regular and mint and peanut butter balls. Yum!

CAD Monkey

This comic is going around our department again, it is pretty true! LOL, always making changes, then changes to changes, then it's back to the way it was!

My new boots

To make me jump higher and run faster :) Just tried winning a new pair on ebay, but some people just need to realize what things cost new. Someone paid more than I did after I lost the auction and went to buy them on Amazon from http://www.altrec.com/. Kind of a winter, outdoor yet dress boot.

Gracey found a whistle!

We had a really nice Thanksgiving at my mom's. As always, the company and food was wonderful! I love my family and am very lucky to be a part of Keith's family, too, they are great!

Anyway, Gracey found my sister, Tracy's, recess whistle (she's a teacher) and was having the best time with it. She could usually get no more than a little tweet but she thought it was the coolest! She wanted us to clap every time she got it to make a sound. And then she would just giggle like crazy! What a cutie, and the hair! She is such a doll! I got her a little dolly stroller and she thinks she should be able to ride in it too! I also made her a picture album for her very own, with a bunch of pictures of everyone in the family and she really liked it, the dogs and grandpa the best. She is totally Grandpa's girl!

I'll add a picture on the end here of Rocky, he loves to do this EVERY TIME one of us takes a shower or bath. As soon as he hears the water run he is in there. He curls up as small as he can and falls asleep in the laundry basket. What a nut, but so cute!

My Big Baby

I was just thinking about and missing our first dog, Buddy today. He was such a big baby! It was 2 years ago that I had to take him in to get put to sleep. He wasn't even 6 years old. He had had cancer for more than 2 years, and the vet had told us he had maybe 6 months when he had the first surgery. He made it a long time! Just to show us how wonderful he was:) He just loved stuffed animals, he would carry them around like they were his babies. Anyway, just missing Buddy today. He was a wonderful Rottweiler! Maybe someday we will get another one, but never another like him!

Here she is again. She loves phones, and she knows there is usually one in your purse. So smart and only 18 months. She is learning colors and loves to talk and loves her mommy:) And everyone else, too! She has the curliest hair I have ever seen!

Sunday we went to the farm for Kyle's birthday. It was a really nice day to stay inside and that's just what we did. Keith made a ton of popcorn on both his poppers. And I think there was a lot of funny faces being made at the table. I managed to catch a few of them, and got one good one with the birthday boy. Keith tried to pretend it was his cake, but I think the name on the cake ruined his plans. What a goof ball.

We are making some vacation plans for next June to go to Road America for the whole Superbike race weekend. That should be a lot of fun, we are going to rent a camper and stay right at the track. I am going to see if I can actually run on the track in the morning! Keith went this last June with Ryan Krisher for a day and had a blast and we went to another race that was similar, but not as fast, a few weeks later. It was a lot of fun! Can't wait! The park is actually a State Park, and really very pretty in a lot of places.

Keith and I are just sitting around. We have Tula here again today, and I will go get her after work tomorrow, too. I picked up part of our nephew Kyle's birthday present after work today. Keith and his gourmet popcorn skills, went to Valley Popcorn after work and came home with a big bag full of stuff. Red and black popcorn, seasonings, and then decided to go to the kitchen store at the outlet and get a Whirly Pop popper. He is going to try that tonight. Keith was just down in the basement using the punching bag I got off of Craigslist. I am so jealous! Can't wait till January 18th and I can run again! I miss my running and kickboxing! I have my marathon training schedule all planned out already! At least the healing is going well! Ah well, all I have for now.

Tula

I babysat Tula today for Ryan and Chris. She is there Boxer, a year old today, too. I will probably go get her tomorrow, too, since I am home all day. No reason for her to sit in her crate at home. She is on the right, our dog Rocky is the one on the left.
